Program Changers – Who are we?
Program Changers is an organization dedicated to helping high school athletes showcase their talents in basketball to colleges and universities nationwide. Regardless of the competition level – whether Division I, II, III, NAIA, or Junior Colleges – athletes can have their skills viewed and evaluated. Through sending links to schools containing either clips or full game footage, college coaches can conveniently assess players from their offices. In the inaugural class of the 2013 season, Program Changers played a significant role in facilitating the placement of 10 student-athletes in schools of various levels. Since then, we have continued our mission and have assisted over 100 players in finding opportunities at colleges and universities across the country. We firmly believe that there is a place for every aspiring athlete, provided they are willing to put in the effort to improve.
Why do we exist?
Program Changers originated from a parent’s desire to secure the best opportunities for his son, who harbored aspirations of excelling in basketball at the highest level possible. Witnessing his son’s unwavering commitment to realizing this dream, and recognizing the limitations of the coaching staff in providing comprehensive support, a meticulously curated list was crafted. This list comprised college names, locations, conferences, and email contacts of coaching personnel, aimed at broadening the horizons of aspiring athletes. Through the exchange of clips via email and ensuing dialogues, meaningful relationships began to blossom.
The fruition of this endeavor was evident when his son earned and was awarded a Division II scholarship. Bolstered by this success, the initial list has since burgeoned to encompass hundreds of schools across various competition tiers and multiple conferences. Acknowledging the dynamic nature of collegiate basketball, where coaching changes are commonplace, our commitment extends to updating the list consistently throughout the year.
Our empathy stems from firsthand experience – we comprehend the complexities of the parental role in this process because we are parents ourselves. Moreover, our insight into the student-athlete perspective is deeply rooted, as we both navigated the challenges of being under-recruited basketball players upon graduating from high school.
Our Stats
Here is what we have been blessed to have accomplished over the years.
- 160+ We market our Boy’s and Girl’s basketball players to schools in 160+ conferences across the country. This includes the NCAA and NAIA Levels.
- 1200+ We market our Boy’s and Girl’s basketball players to over 1200+ coaches at the NJCAA Juco Division I, II, III levels.
- 44 We market our football players to schools in 44 conferences across the country. This includes the NCAA, NAIA, Juco and prep levels.
- 95 We have been fortunate enough to be able to assist 90+ student-athletes pursue that scholastic and athletic dreams.
- 65 Of our clients have received scholarship money from collegiate institutions.
