Jayce is a long/athletic wing who has quietly become one of our toughest and most competitive kids. As a program, we are a team that consistently finishes in the top 25 defensively, and Jayce is the best defender I have coached since I have been here. He has an uncanny ability to get his hands on everything on the defensive end, and he finishes very well in transition. He is a kid who came to us from Bowie HS in Arlington, where he put up huge numbers in his HS career. Offensively, he has great feel for the game, and the ball always seems to find him at the right spot at the right time; he is currently a low to mid 30's shooter from three, and if he can continue to shoot it well he will be a D2 player. He is another kid who needs two years of juco, but at the end of it I anticipate him receiving D2 offers.
